Free rabies vaccination and stroke screening in Serian

The community event, which will be held at Dewan Serbaguna SJK Chung Hua Serian (Google Maps) on Saturday, 19 August 2023 from 8AM-3PM, is dedicated to addressing rabies and stroke specifically.
Organised by pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim to create a safer and healthier environment for everyone, you can expect:
- Free anti-rabies vaccination for pets: In an area where veterinary clinics are limited and rabies remains a serious threat, this life-saving service will help local pet owners ensure the well-being of their pets and prevent the spread of rabies to the larger community.
- Free health screening focused on stroke: At the same time, pet owners can also enjoy free stroke screening services, promoting early detection for timely intervention.
- Educational activities: Families will have a chance to learn about rabies and stroke prevention, and explore a range of hands-on activities, including how to recognise stroke symptoms at home and more.
